Green Street Elite gets 1st place in Rookie 3-Man!

9/16/07: Finally we are second no longer! GSE took first place after winning 11 games straight! Looks like its time to setup to novice. ~Barbarossa

Green Street Elite gets 2nd place in Rookie 5-Man!

8/19/07: GSE takes another win in our first go at the 5 man series. To the roster we added Sonny and for the game his friend Matt helped us. GG all! ~Barbarossa

7/16/07: We had an absolute blast at ION. I lend the airborne unit and we kicked some butt. Took the Allied HQ in an hour. It certainly is a wild experience to play with 4000 people as well, and it tends to become submission paintball after a while. Check out the AAR below: I.O.N. Here's the AAR:

The Airborne inserted 1/2 hour after the beach assault began. The paratroopers were split into two insertion points. One spear headed south to attack the Allied HQ area to the rear and other north to stop German reinforcements. Once we freed the HQ away from the French the allies pinned the Germans into their HQ area for most of the day. Meanwhile racking up the points to give a final score of Allies: 163 French: 141 Germans: 22! ~Barbarossa

6/03/07: We had a interesting time this year. The camping setup was perfect, the air had short lines, but the field... well not so much. Chuck at Pyro ran into more problems than a subermarine with screen doors. Hopefully next year he'll have better luck! Check out the AAR below: NJ NAM. Here's the AAR:

The game started out with the US humping it into the woods at a slow pace, then having the VC pop up in front of us guns blazing. It was more or less a hedge vest, slugging our way through borage thicker than Normandy for the rest of the weekend. The dirt roads and cross sections turned into massive killing zones and enemy tanks were a serious problem, especially if you were caught out in the open by one of them. (ouch!-ed) Anyway we lost and we are glad that Pyro will be going back to their old field next year. ~Barbarossa

Green Street Elite gets 2nd place in Rookie 3-Man!

5/20/07: A speedball team named the Green Street Elite (GSE), made up of myself, Snake Eyes, and Predator jumped into a rookie 3-man tourney at Hogan's Alley. 12 games later we ended up getting 2nd place! Not bad for only having played speedball 2-3 times. Expect more from the GSE! ~Barbarossa

Pretorian Elite starts is 2007 season!

4/20/07: We're starting the season earlier than usual and I have a feeling its going to be a big one. We already have matches lined up and some big scenarios to play. I'll see you all on the beach! ~Barbarossa

4/14/07: We had another decent game at Strategy Plus during the War of Attrition game. Here's the AAR:

-----------------------------------------------After Action Report-----------------------------------------------

The game started with PE on the allied side attacking right out of our spawn against the Dog's Leg forfications where the Germans were well entrenched. Yet elements of PE kept pushing along its right flank and helped lead the charge into its rear area and the allies captured the area. From there the battle went back and forth around the town of Tombstone where the "neutral" French switch sides several times. While the Germans ran the field in the mornning, by mid day and afternoon they seems fatiqued and in short supply. The allies mopped the field and pinned the Germans in their spawn before the last big fight. The last battle the Germans held strong in Tombstone but it wasn't enough as the final score was Allies: 69 Germans: 66! ~Barbarossa

3/19/07: May I welcome Razorson, and his ninja skills to the team!... and the occasionally kamikaze. ~Barbarossa

3/11/07: For an off season we've been hella busy! We have more matches coming up, people are challenging us! All PE members look to the forum for details. Also some housing keeping issues, the old 06 season news in the the archive. And no I haven't updated the history yet Caz. ~Barbarossa

Pretorian Elite vs The Gauls

2/25/07: What a great day for paintball. PE had a great time playing this four round match that ended in totally victory! There certainly was alot of paint flying both out the gun and inside. Note to self: never buy Origins. Thanks guys for making this a great game. ~Barbarossa

2/22/07: We'd like to welcome Anubis to the Pretorian Elite, he's joined up in the reserves but we hope to be seeing more of him. ~Barbarossa

2/20/07: What a blast Russian Front was! Here's the AAR:

-----------------------------------------------After Action Report-----------------------------------------------

The game started with PE, Team PUD, and elements of YD acting as Panzer Grenadiers attacking with a tank outside of Moscow. But the game took very long to start and the enemy reinforced their position. After some time though their defenses crumbled and the Germans took control. After that the rest of the day was more or less focused around who held Moscow. The German's sacked the Russian base on occasion while the Russians never touched the Fatherland's fortifications, yet they were way ahead in points due to running missions. But in the end the German's sneaked by with a victory of only a hundred points because we helped the city. ~Barbarossa

1/30/07 It was another great Blue Balls game! Thanks to Team PUD and Yankee Division for keeping it real. This game proved a testing ground for one of our newer squads with a new member, Pretorian Predator and Dan from the cement yard. Next stop for us looks like it will be the Russian Front at Strategy Plus on Fed 10. ~Barbarossa

1/22/07 Blue Balls 2007 is only 2 days away! This frozen nut of a event is hosting by our pals Team PUD in MA. The PE will be in attendance with Yankee Division to shove hand warmers down our pants and take names. ~Barbarossa

12/05/06 We have a new addition to the PE family, Pretorian Tank enters the scene. While she is only a reservist with us, she is a solid player who has been helping us with our practices. Cheers! ~Barbarossa
